Terms of service

These terms apply to framepets.com and to every order placed on it. By uploading a photo or placing an order you agree to them.

What we do

You upload a photo of a pet. We use an AI image model to make a portrait of that pet in the style you choose and show you a watermarked preview for free. You may then buy a framed print or canvas of the portrait, which we have made and shipped to you by a print partner, or buy the 4K digital file. The 4K file is included with every print.

Your photo and your rights

You confirm that you own the photo you upload or have permission to use it, and that it does not show a person who has not agreed to it. You keep the rights to your photo. You grant us a licence to process it to make and deliver your portrait and, for photos that lead to an order, to keep the portrait so we can reprint or resend it. We do not use customer photos or portraits in our marketing without asking you first.

The portrait we make for you is yours to print, share and enjoy for personal use. You may not resell portraits as prints or digital goods.

What you must not upload

No sexual content, no violence, no images of people without their consent, no content that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse to generate or ship anything that breaks these rules, with a full refund of anything paid.

Previews and tries

Previews are free, carry a watermark, and are limited to six per uploaded photo. Photos and previews that do not lead to an order are deleted after 30 days.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include shipping. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where we are required to collect it. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place the order. Where a "regular" price is shown crossed out, it is the price at which the item is or has been offered outside of a promotion.

Orders and refunds

All sales are final. Every print is made to order and cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled. The delivery address can be corrected from your order page during the first hour after payment. Reprints for prints that arrive damaged or misprinted, and the proof we require, are governed by our shipping and returns page, which is part of these terms.

No account

We do not ask you to create an account. Your order page is reached by a private link we email you. Anyone with the link can see the order, so keep it to yourself.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Orders are governed by the terms in force when they were placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
